Recycle Pull Tabs to Benefit Ronald McDonald House
We collect pull tabs from cans of soda, soup, pet food, etc. These recycled pull tabs generate a necessary income to allow the Ronald McDonald Houses to continue to provide comfortable housing and emotional support to families of children with serious illnesses who are undergoing treatment at nearby medical facilities.
There are two (2) Ronald McDonald Houses in Nashville, a total of five (5) in Tenessee, and fourteen (14) in the Southeastern Synod.

Collect Food for Good Samaritan Program (of Bedford County) |

We collect food for the Good Samaritan program of Bedford County in support of needy families in the Bedford County area. The Good Samaritan Association is a 25-year-old organization founded on the premise of feeding the hungry and helping out with their utilities, on a temporary basis. Pantry shelves are stocked with donations by churches, schools, businesses, and individuals. A member of our congregation is a weekly volunteer in support of this worthy cause. |

Supper for the Caregiver Relief Program (of Bedford County) |
We assist with a pancake supper to raise money for the Caregiver Relief Program (of Bedford County). Thrivent will contribute matching funds on behalf of Christ Lutheran Church. The Caregiver Relief Program was founded to assist (dementia patient) caregivers by providing and facilitating free respite visits to allow them a little time for themselves. In addition, the church provides office space for the director of this program and one of our members currently serves on the board. |
